I agree.....my husband Ben, was a warrior and fought his battle to live,
To be with me, our children and grandchildren.
I have always recognized Ben as My Hero. What a blessing to know,
he is now out of pain and with his Saviour.
I'm so happy for your peace Gail......thanks for your post......love from Sandra
Their memorie lives on thru us.
Althoug I hurt missing Lyn I would not bring her back to the pains of this world. She also suffered years of pain without much complaint.
I believe we were all truely blessed to have had these remarkable people in our lives. Take care.
Peace, TIm
It took me time to get to the point of acknowledging the loss and accepting what feels so unacceptable for so long. Was it fair? No!
But it was reality and unchangeable. At that point the choice is ours. Grieve. Struggle. Cry. Be angry. All important to feel. In your own time you also must accept and re-identify who you are and where you go from here. Sharon
But, I see it in a different way now, and I agree with everyone here who is thankful that our Beloved are no longer in the never-ending pain that they were in here on earth.
Do I want to turn back the clock, and bring Marylou back home...with all the unbearable pain she suffered, all-the-time? Put her into agony just so I can be selfish and have her for me?
Hell-no! I would rather have her when she visits me in Spirit...and looks just like she does in a portrait she did about 30, at her healthiest and most beautiful.
And I will just have to try to live a life that will allow me to one day catch up to her, in the same way.
