Happy early morning to all my fellow widowers and widows. I know I sound peppy and positive; truth be told its still me trying to be the old me through the dark till the light shines again.
I am quickly approaching the end of month 3 on my own now and I am still here. I know some of you will say John youre not alone you have the kids yes and no lol. The house is full but I am alone. I used to listen to a song when I was a kid that I heard again tonight that made me understand where I am right now. Every one of us will have a deep understanding of this simple chorus. As a kid it was just a song now to me it is music.
You don't know about lonely

Til you've lived through the story

You don't know about sadness
Til you've faced life alone
You don't know about lonely
Til it's chiseled in stone."
OK depressing music set aside now time for the heart of tonights post. Can I hate the month of May?
May 8 Mothers Day
May 15 Kaitlyns 15th Birthday
May 29 Robbie Graduates High School
This should be a month of joy in my family and I will do my best to make it joyful for them. The bad part is I see a month of sadness coming.
Hmm what else to updateoh yeah I think scratch that I know I found my theme song. I have noticed that people treat me like I am fragile so they seem to have really fluffy gloves on around me. Cant break what you cant touch I guess lol. It is this treatment that reminded me of a short refrain from the original Disney Aladdin movie. The song is One Jump Ahead reprise.
Riff-raff, street rat, I don't buy that
If only they'd look closer
Would they see a poor boy?
No siree they'd find out there's so much more to me
I know now there is so much more to me and I am finding out more and more about myself daily.

Music says so much, doesn't it? Sometimes I think we just connect with a song that says exactly how we are feeling, and although I am sure if I heard the song you posted I would know it right away, I think the lyrics speak more. You don't know about lonely. There is a new song by Lady Gaga (stop laughing) "You don't know how I feel" and it talks about someone not knowing another's pain until they have walked the same path.
I know waht you mean about even though someone migh be around your still alone. At work we have monthly staff meetings and there could be a much as thirty people around me. I look around and there are conversations all over. I am sitting alone starring at others not feeling a part of anything anymore. My earthly rock and foundation is not with me.
I was telling my uncle that I have to completely rebuild a life I thought was on it's way but without the one I was including in it's construction.
