This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
On Saturday, July 27, 2013 after 36 years together, almost thirty married, Clint left from earth to Heaven. On this day I celebrate not an first anniversary but his first birthday with the Lord.
I hope some of what is written here will encourage you on your journey.
The moment that you died, my heart was torn in two, one side filled with heartache, the other died with you.
I often lie awake at night when the world is fast asleep, and take a walk down memory lane, with tears upon my cheeks.
Remembering you is easy, I do it everyday, but missing you is heartache, that never goes away.
I hold you tightly within my heart, and there you will remain, until the joyous day arrives, that we will meet again.
I can no longer see you with my eyes, touch you with my hands, but I will feel you in my heart,
FOREVER!
A thousand words cannot bring you back, I know because I tried;
and neither can a million tears, I know because I have cried.
Weaved into the pain of losing you, there are threads of hope and beautiful memories.
Grief is a tunnel to growth.
A brand new body, no more suffering and pain. No more chemo, radiation and tons of medication.
