That I started life again. I am nearly 9 months out and have been in free fall most of those months. There have been yourselveswns but mainly I have just ridden the currents of grief.

That changed today. At least for today. I started working for the first time in 5 years. I am posting this for those that are new to this site or in the early, desolate stages of grief. Also i wanted to touch base with my friends here. I would never have thought it would be possible to ever finish a day filled with satisfaction and joy a few months ago. But i did! Today was a wonderful day of service to my home health client. Not once did I dwell on my own loss or get that "lost and lonely" feeling. I am actually looking forward to my next day.

Those of you that can't see beyond the next minute, hour or day and are filled with hopelessness, have courage. I was there. In fact, I'm sure those days will visit me again. But now I know there is happiness out there for me as well.

I still drop by here daily and hold you all as dear friends that are sharing this path with me. Stay strong and treat yourselves gently just like you would a beloved child in pain. {{{ Hugs }}} ~ Bailey ~
