My day started as it does everyday, reading my devotional and Bible
scriptures Later this morning I attended Bible class and afterward decided to go the grocery store. When I open my car, the horn started honking and wouldn't stop. It was hot, I was frustrated and my groceries was in the car. People came over and tried to help but couldn't. I finally called a tow truck to take to the repair shop. The tow truck driver was kind to take me to my house first so I could put my groceries up. When I offered him money, he refused to take it. They fixed it so it would run until I get to the dealer. Everything went well. This evening I was wondering why I was so sad. I had a good day. And then it hit me, I couldn't call my husband. I just cried and cried. Whenever and whatever I was going through, he was my stabilizer. He would make it alright.

Today, I had the septic tank cleaned. The guys called me over to point out a repair that needed to be done. I have no idea about this stuff. None at all. He talked me into coming back in a few days to fix it. Cost between 300 and 400 dollars.
I was upset. That's a lot of money right now and when my sweetie was alive and we were living in another house, we never never had a septic tank repair.
Oh, I know, it will blow over and probably could have been much worse. But I just wanted to share this with my husband, feel his strong arms around me, and it just won't happen!
"Stabilizer" ... I like that word.
