4.5 years into losing him there I was, taking a bath with music on when Michael Bubble started singing "Put your head on my shoulder" . That wa sit, images of us dancing slowly had me in emotional turmoil ...Grief attack !
They are part of our new normal even 4.5 years in...It does not mean that I ham not healing and that I am not moving forward. It means that he lived and was part of my live,,,That together we built something and that I miss him...
Grief attacks , even after 405 years I get them. Not as often , and evn once in a blue moon these days ...They happen because he once lived here on this heart and I was fortunate to love him...
In the beginning grief attacks were and hourly occurnance...Then daily...Eventually a once in a while remmemberance thing...
For those who are new in this journey and feer forgetting them, trust me...You won't....
There will always be the loss but it lessens
4 years for me, hard to believe that much time has elapsed
Initially there were so many changes that now did not involve him
So it's to carry on as best as possible.
Some days are easier than others
But a new day dawns, I try to approach it as positively, come what may...
