I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

My heart goes out to you.

I am 4 years and 8 months a widow, during this time, I have seen lives being transformed; moving from pain and despair, to new hope, even new dreams and goals.
Warm hug.
It does get easier. But it's not quick.
I wish you peace and hope tomorrow might be a slightly better day.
Big hug.
Those feelings weren't me, or the me I thought I was. But it's true, I felt the horrible feelings of resentment and it is okay to feel them. It is the grief monster that teaches the hard lessons in losing your love and your life as it was. I don't think I thought of grief as a teacher back then. I hated grief so much. Truly hated it. It was painful and a monster. But we can't ignore it, we have to challenge ourself to survive, to heal, and to build. Sharon
I find now when I see couple's the thing that always comes to mind is that I hope they cherish each moment they have together, they respect each other and are always there for each other.
