Hi Everyone. I know it is really hard to be without our love ones on these holidays but I think they would want us to be happy and spread love and concern to each other. So I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving. I know I am thankful for the wonderful husband I had and the family we had together. I am thankful for all of you and the love and support you have shown me and each other. We need each other. Hugs and love sent your way today. Terry

So nicely put, and so true. Usually at this time (9:15am) I'd be stuffing the turkey and getting it ready to put in the oven, and Rick would be on cleaning duty. This year it's so quiet. I went to breakfast with my folks, but we're all going our separate ways this year - I'll be dining with friends. It just didn't feel right to do the usual and pretend like nothing had changed.

This day is the big one for me, being Jewish Christmas wasn't that much of a day (we usually spent with his family), but I know there will be some twinges on that day as well. I try and be thankful for what we had together, and the memories, and the knowledge that all the good you get from one person is what you have to give to others.
