About 2 months into my grieving I sat on our bed, our bed we shared for years and a bed I am still unable to sleep in after 5 months. I was crying asking my husband if he still remembers me. I begged him for any kind of sign that he is still with us. The following morning I decided to clean the top of the refrigerator and in the very back a little envelope stuck out! Out of all the junk, basket of towels etc, it stuck out! I pulled it out and I openned it. It was a card my husband had given me. I dont remember the occassion or why it was saved. I dont recall saving it or recieving it. I never save cards. I wish I could scan it here to show you. I may put it in as a photo later. The front of the card is a Thomas Kincard painting with a little cottage with flowers. Here is what the card read:

Then with his writing signs it saying:
"I love you! Things will get better! I love you very much. Big Nose (his nickname).

Needless to say I could not stop crying! I hold this card so dearly. I know he is with me.
