They were married 72 years

Just saw a youtube video about a couple that was married for 72 years. Then they were in a car wreck together. They were in intensive care together in the same room. They held hands until their deaths only one hour apart.

What marital and life insurance policy did they buy? It sure wasn't available to me. Just sayin.

I would give anything to be them - wouldn't even have needed the 72 years - our 45 would be just fine.

George and I had half that time, those folks sure were lucky. They were very very blessed. I know I was lucky to have 36 years, but who wouldn't want 72 if they could have them?

That's the way it should always be, live a long life together and leave this world together, they were charmed and i have to confess that i am jealous of them. Can you think of a better way to live and die?

Not only did they get 72 yrs together, they never had to watch the other one go through diagnosis of a terminal disease, surgery to try to fix the problem, chemo, radiation, wheelchairs, oxygen tubing, morphine, juggle job and caregiving at the same time, have to pay the bills all on their own, plan and carry out a funeral, order a gravestone, sit in the house alone and hear the enormous silence, be ignored and left alone by former "friends", feel like half a person, wonder who is going to take care of them when they get stricken and bedridden, run out of money, feel like the fifth wheel everywhere they go, marvel at a beautiful sunset all alone, be terrified and all alone in the night when a noise is heard in the house or outside, buryi the dog or cat all by themselves, make decisions regarding the children (grown or minor) all alone, and have no real reason to get up each morning.

I hope you people who got 72 yrs together appreciated it.
