Today I hit the six month mark and Saturday is his birthday. As if the "regular" days aren't bad enough!
That's all I wanted to say, just because I know you all understand exactly how I feel.

My wife's earthly birthday is in May. I already am not sure how that's going to go. I like what Carla wrote about being their first heavenly birthday. My prayers are with you.
Peace, Tim
That one is going to be a bad one...and it's already getting started.
Yes, we all understand the milestones. I'm approaching the 8 month mark and I have to say that life has gotten easier to manage. I made it through his birthday (hard) and Valentine's day (extremely hard) and my birthday (easier). It just seems like now it's the people around me who keep expecting me to fall apart if I don't have a funtastic birthday filled with activity and surrounded by hubbie and kids like I used to. I'm okay with things on the low key side, no fuss (I enjoyed a quiet birthday on my own - which was nice). I give thanks to the Lord that I am truly satisfied and happy with small things (a sunny day, my garden, etc.). As long as I know that my kids love me, I believe I'll be all right (and you will to). God bless and keep moving forward.
