After 20 years of marriage came a divorce. I was 42. I thought I'd remarry pretty soon, but that was not to be. After 9 yrs of singlehood and praying to God the same prayer, "Please God, send me the man who is LIKE ME.", I met Joe at church. We were together from day 1. I was 49 when we met and we had 16 year total together, 14 married. Of course it was not long enough. It never is! But, I want to give hope to those who think they may be too old to ever love again.....I always said, God saved the best for last. Never give up. Leave the door open. Obey God and leave all the consequences to him. He has a plan for everyone's life. Also, I have noticed that he chooses his favorite people to bear the burdens of life, so that we may be witnesses for him. Blessings to all. There is hope out there. Maybe not another marriage, but some form of love.
