Well, you are in uncharted waters -- finding out how much Meredith did, how difficult it is to raise children by yourself, learning how to survive the grief waves as they come at you. Keep the kids and your job your priority -- don't be bashful about letting people help you. Learn to swallow your pride. You've made it through the hardest month and survived, and in a lot of ways, it will get worse when the numbness starts to leave you. But if you made it this far, you can do this! We are so proud of you. If you never saw the movie Daddy Daycare, it might be a movie to consider watching. It will either make you laugh or bring you to your knees in tears. Us guys really don't have a clue when it comes to kids, but we are trainable (just doesn't seem to come as naturally as it does for "moms". As for me, Juani's kids were young teens when we married so I was 27 and got to learn parenting in the most difficult of situations. I didn't get the little kid experience until the grandkids came along. Funny story sometime, but I've only tried to change one diaper in my life -- my granddaughters when everyone else went shopping -- scared me to death -- poop went everywhere -- and I said never again. Know that we are all cheering for you and your family! And don't be bashful about asking all these experienced mothers here for advice as I've seen you do. Im not one to give advice, just take one moment at a time. My one year anniversary of seans passing is this upcoming tuesday, and so far this week, has sucked...it rained on uesday, and has been like tornado like winds since, and it makes me sad, that I dont have my bestfriend to snuggle with, but as tiime goes on, I know he's in heaven remembering, snuggling with me.. I'm lucky my little one, snuggles with me everynight, so that has been a big comfort for me. I think we will all survive, few bumps, bruises and scrapes but we shall endure,. The first month or so, no matter how hard, it seemed there was a supernatural Divine Grace upholding me- so many people were praying.
Now I literally beg for prayers, as people seem to expect that time is making things easier.
