I'm in a really bad place at the moment regarding my oldest daughter. She has had issues with addiction for the last twenty years but my husband always protected me from this. She got clean when he was diagnosed with cancer and was absolutely amazing throughout his treatment. The day he died she started again and I am dealing with this on my own now. She is injecting meth in the morning and taking doctor prescribed Xanax to go to bed at night. Her children live with me and it's so very hard working full time and trying to make sure these girls are o.k.. I just wish Mike could walk back in the door and sort it all out.

Again, I'm so sorry for your loss of your husband, and for your daughter's addiction issues...I know how devastating it is, and how helpless we are to help them. And as an addict myself, I also know how hard it is to quit, especially in the wake of tragedy. take care, Wendi
Hugs to you
The burden of grieving for our mates is big enough without any extra "stuff" to have to worry about.
I'm sending you a warm hug and I hope that your daughter will find the strength to get help for herself.
Love,
Roz
My heart goes out to you. To have so many extra problems to deal with on top of grief and working a full time job....I just can't imagine how life is for you right now.
How are you coping? I was wondering if you have family support or outside support.
I am glad you can come here to vent and be supported.
Thinking of you....love and hugs from Sandra
