This past Thanksgiving with my sibilings and Mom than Christmas by myself this year was very different.
2 years 5 months and 7 days since I lost my husband unexpectedly from a heart attack. I have gone through alot as many here have and still going on.
I chose to attend the holidays and was very positive about it. It was snowing like mad here and I hunkered down. The day after Christmas I got this feeling Roger was here and I sat and tried to visualize him standing there and it had a good cry. I think it was ok though just time to feel my loss. Darn it anyway wish he was here
Moral of story though: I have gotten through the gut wrenching how am I gonna make it stage and it does feel better.

I think there is still more "gut wrenching" coming unexpectedly. After16 months, I still feel its not real, still in a sort of daze, waiting for the hammer to strike once again.
