One of his traits was as he drank beer, the more he drank he would sink down in his seat. We could always tell when he was getting close to having enough.
Gosh I miss him.
Hugs, Sandi
When I was about eight months pregant with our son we were getting stuff at the store for a party. Someone asked me to get a bottle of wine and I didn't even think about it at the time (I have never really been a drinker). So here I am as big as a house and my husband yells at me "Really, you're going to get drunk with my son inside you?!? I have had with you and your drinking! " and stormed away from me. I was stunned and everyone was giving me the dirtiest looks.
To get him back I waited until we were getting veggies and asked him to go get the biggest cucumber he could find. When he came back with it in his hands I yelled " You Sir are a pig and if he don't get away from me right now I'll get the manager!" He was so stunned he dropped it and waited for me in the car. After that he stopped messy around in the store with me.
He once let me sail out of the house in a see through Indian gauze dress, (no, you can't see through it he assured me with a straight face) to go to the Farmer's market, where I was hit on by a pie peddlin' Hutterite. After that I often reminded him that I had options, as clearly I'd be a hottie in the colony.
One time I had an underwire come out of my bra and I chucked it in the garbage. Days later I drove my mom to a town a couple hours away and Bill came outside to see us off and take pics. Miatas are super cute, so I didn't think too much of it. All the way there, truckdrivers were honking and waving, and I thought I was having an exceptionally good hair day. When we got to our destination a guy rapped on my roof and asked me if I knew I had a bra hanging off my license plate. The amazing part was it was still clean. There's the picture he took in my profile pics, on the 2nd page.
The worst was when I answered the phone at work to have some panicked guy say that he needed to bring his wife in, that she had something funky going on down there that needed to be seen right away. I worked at the STD clinic. So I said sure bring her in and she'll see a nurse and they'll help her out. He said he needed to go in with her, so he could point out the area of concern, and I told him, no she would be seen alone. He went on and on about how dire the situation was, never seen anything like it! and I was starting to think there's no way this jerk is married, and most likely all his partners have required inflating. He mentioned an identifying mark in the area, and for a split second I thought, Hey I have one of... He said well she can't see it, I really need to go in and I said we have stirrups, and the nurses will manage just fine. Then he said "Stirrups hey?" and he whinnied like a horse.
The light dawned on me. I said "You jackass!!"
He thought he was hilarious. He was. And he was kind and generous and sexy. I am so lucky. :)
