Its been over 2 years i lost my wife, though its been a while its still hurt when i think of her, seeing our daughter grow up to be a beautiful woman without the love and care of a mother. the single life has cougt up to me and i wish that space isn't there. i ask why and if this was just a dream

I'm so sorry for your loss of you don't mind me asking how did she die I have a friend that lost her husband two years ago and she is still so upset I can't even imagine the pain you and your daughter are going through my heart ❤️ goes out to both of you

Yes, if only this were a dream? More like a nightmare, I'd say. The reality and acceptance of my wife's death hit me hard, and shook me to the very core of my soul and spirit. A bitter dream to wish to wake up from the unimaginable. Because this is just the way it is. No rhyme. No reason. You have become both your daughter's father and her mother. That is a heavy load, but you have double responsibility for the most important jobs that exist in humankind. Let your daughter see her mother in your eyes. And let your wife see your daughter through your eyes. Lonely? You bet. But alone? Not you. You carry forth the remembrance of not only your wife, but more important, the remembrance of your daughter's mother. So build your life on that blessing. How sad had she lost both parents. It happens. And it screws the children up beyond belief. But not yours. Because you will always be there for her. ~~~ Scottie

I'm sorry for your loss. I have a son and when my husband passed it was very hard on him. He is 22. When he comes to see me which isn't too often I catch him starring at things I know what is going through his mind it breaks my heart.

No matter how long you can't get use to the feeling and its always heartbreaking when you think about it.
