This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
My hubby went to heaven a year ago October. My daughter-in-law was the hospice aide and she brought the grandkids daily with her. One of them called me this week and said grandpa appeared to him, said he looked great not like he did before he went to heaven. So neat. I haven't been on much lately as we have a business that keeps me going 24-7 which I guess is a good thing. Lots of tears yet, worse than in the beginning. I have a build a bear with a voice mail he left me which I play often which helps. This group meant the world to me.
My daughter was concerned about her pregnancy and had a dream that my husband came to her and they had the biggest and longest hug. It was like a message from him to her that she would be alright. She was happy to see her dad but cried when she realized it's a dream. It's bittersweet. I loved to hear from our friends and family if they have dreams of my husband. It gives me comfort.
