I thought I was doing so well. But tonight the tears came again. My brother-in-law gave me some oysters and I fried them for supper. George loved them so. But what really got me was when I mixed the cocktail sauce. He use to do that and when I did it, it got to me. Its the little things that we remember that we took for granted but really meant so much. Does this ring a bell with anyone else.
Just this afternoon, I went to burn a candle. the kiddies can get a bit fragrant at times! lol
anyway, when I lit it, it is white and smells like chocolate and mint. when Greg and i met the second time I saw him, he gave me a candle. white chocolate mint. I burned it as I talked to him the first New years ever we spent. Just from the smell, it all came back like yesterday. the tears came, and came and came!!! but also the feelings of what it was to be with him. THAT no one can take away from us.
Can't take it away from you either.
