Hi My fellow friends, I had a full size quilt made from all my husbands t-shirts, I believe it cost me 99.00,,,The throw are less money and they also make pillowsThis gives me so much comfort when I place the quilt on mego to PROJECTREPAT.COM , IF anyone wants to see my finished quilt, send my you email and I will send you a photo of the finished project, It came out awesome...

If you feel like it, you can have a look at my photos, there aresome blankets made from some of Hubby's t-shirts and pieces of clothing. Yes they bring comfort. I am currently working on my own .

A friend of mine posted on my FB wall about taking like flannel shirts and making them into pillows or as you have done. Taking his clothes like T-shirts and stuff and making them into quilts. This is a great idea. My mother-in-law took the butts of old jeans and made us a king size quilt out of them. Put strong quilt lining on the other side of them. Although, a few of the pockets were not sewn shut so a couple of our baby kittens at the time would curl up inside of them LOL! I wish I could sew and that it would be an awesome idea! But, at the same time I'm not ready to do anything or to give them away or sell them yet. But, great idea and thanks for sharing it

My mom made my kids t-shirt quilts when their dad passed. Now a friend is making me one, she made me a pillow out of his favorite marine t-shirt. I sleep with it every night.

My friend made a beautiful quilt out off all of seans clothes, includin som undies, lol. plus she screen printed 4 pics of our little family of 4 on the quilt. Then she made a shirt pillow for my oldest daughter, and used seans coverals and made a very pretty, 10 year old size coveral/apron with pink ruffles, and a little pink embroidered hanky in the poket that says.. I love you pumpkin, love your daddy, sean, I will be your daddy sean for all eternity, was a beautiful thing to have done, and she didnt charge me for anything.... some wonderful people in this world... much love and big hugs carla

For those who have dress shirts to use, typically the cuffs don't get used for quilts or cushions, but I found a nice blog with a how-to use the cuffs to make little pouches, including tooth fairy pouches from them, which I thought were a cute idea, too:

Thank you all for the great ideas! I had seen the throws and pillows, but not the cuffs. I know there is a reason I can't part with anything of his yet. Shoot, I can't even touch most of it. Crazy I know, but it is what it is for now. Hugs and Love, Michele
