I made it through the first year. Like so many have said, the anticipation was much worse than the actual day. I cried many tears on the days leading up to Monday but had the good fortune to spend the day and evening with friends who could share my memories. We told our favorite stories about Randy and remembered the good times. I wasn't sure I could ever recall those times with joy again.
I was fortunate to find this site early on and I credit all the good people here for helping me begin this journey to healing. You truly provided a lifeline at those times I thought I could not survive this. Thank you for being there...Dawn

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!
