Two months since my husband passed on. I miss him so much and find it next to impossible to move on day to day.

It's still very new. It's not easy to get used to the loss of a loved one. Try to take one day at a time. If there is a bereavement group in your area you might want to try going to a meeting. It would help you to share your feelings . This is a good place to visit. You will find compassion and comfort from the group.. They all know what you're going through. May you gain strength and peace. Hugs, Dolores

Your husband wasn't that old...So sorry...It's a hard journey this grief journey...We have to find a way through it...I am one year this month and most of it I have been walking in the fog...It's still hard but not as hard as it was at 2 months....where you are now...You will find support here...Until someone looses their spouse...they can't understand completely what it's like...We all do here...Loosing your husband is like loosing part of yourself....Hugs, Penny

I’m in the same grieving time frame as you are. It’s difficult to say the least. I journal and pray daily, I find strength in that. When I have a moment I let the tears fall, Sometimes it lasts a few minutes and sometimes it’s an all day event. It’s scary being alone and doing things alone. I push myself because I’m afraid if I don’t I’ll give up and sit on this couch for the rest of my life and I know George wouldn’t want that. Take small steps and one day at a time. I paired my phone with my car this morning! It’s a small thing but I was proud! I started my day smiling and it felt great! Hugs....

It will be three months for me in three days. Mary and I were together for just 5 1/2 years but I lost the love of my life. Mi hit bottom at 4 weeks. But it is still way harder than I expected at the three month mark. One day at a time. I read about grief a lot. I talk and read to Mary. All is helpful. Nothing eliminates the grief. But the grief is the healer. So I embrace it. It is the journey I must walk.
