I am new to the group. Have been reading for a few weeks. Today writing for the first time. Helps me a lot to be with those who are going through some of the same things that I'm going through. My husband passed away suddenly too. He was so healthy, working full time, playing tennis and golf on a regular basis . Now I'm lost. It is going to be almost 4 months since he passed away. It is still very hard. The only difference is that I'm able to sleep a little better. In the beginning it was only 2 to 4 hours. Now I'm getting almost 6 hours some nights. Sometimes I feel that I'm getting better, but then unexpectedly the grief takes over and I'm back with a hole in the heart, feeling scared and terrified, missing him so much. Feel so alone.

One thing that helps is to write to my husband what I'm feeling. I find that I'm less anxious after I write to him. It is still so hard that I will never see him again or share my life with him. How could he have just like disappeared from my life. Wish I could have given him a hug and told him that I love him. But time was of essence and I was in a hurry to get him to the hospital, not realizing he is not going to come back. Sorry for my rambling post. But I think you understand
