Today I noticed the first two crocus in the lawn and several tulips that peaked up through the mulch. Jennifer and I planted so much together and I have planted so many things for her that this time of rebirth is more painful then I realized it would be. My intellectual mind knows that Jennifer wants me to live and be happy. I went for a short walk after work and saw couples working in their lawns together and walking together that I started sobbing so hard I had to just come home and and now I plan to write in my journal while sitting on the back patio with a cup of coffee. It has been over 4 months and I feel that the intensity of my pain is often worse then it has been. My memories of her positive attitude and her strength are what are helping to keep me alive. I never want to let her down and I know she is with me through this awful Journey. She stayed so positive that we had plane tickets to fly to the City of Hope in Los Angeles 2 days after she died in my arms
