While making funeral arrangements for Mark, I was asked if I wanted music. I asked " does it have to be that dreary, depressing music most often associated with funerals"? The answer was no, I could bring cd's of whatever I wanted. So, here is the soundtrack of Mark's life and death:

I created a PowerPoint with our favorite music in it with pictures. I watch it once in a while. It brings tears. I am putting one together for my service so my kids don't have to.

Jeff, I had the help of my children and sister-in-law. We chose songs from artists Marl liked and thru in that we're special to us as well. It was a labor of love, definitely. My son-in-law was the one who, while putting it all together for me, added the 1 st song on the list. The "intro" was perfect. :)

I choose to do it myself. It took me several days and a lot of tears. One on the songs I added was http://youtu.be/kPBzTxZQG5Q
Before my wife passed I had never heard this song. I usually listen to talk radio in the car but on the way home from the hospital after she passed I turned on a local FM station and this song started playing. The words caught my attention. In the next couple of days I was looking at my wife's iPad and a couple of weeks before she went in the hospital she had downloaded this very song. It was the last song she ever downloaded. I have had a few similar happenings like this since. I think she is sending little signs.
