Working my way through washing and finding his clothes brought pangs of longing. The girls were busy playing and laughing in the distance and I was playing music and my heart suddenly hurt hard. Tears flowed freely down my face and thoughts of embraces, whispers, dancing, laughter between him and I came flooding back and the want to rewind time to be by his side again.
I do hope the pain stops or eases soon for you. Please do keep sharing as there are many of us listening and feeling the same way.
Hoping that it is a better day for you tomorrow

Thank you for sharing your experience. This is such an awful journey, and so complicated, with the ups and downs. I have seen improvement over time, but at times exactly like you say, something will trigger an intensity of pain. Melancholy and loneliness are pretty much constant companions, but I feel like I’m walking on a razors edge emotionally an those intense feelings will hit.
I’m sorry for your loss and I hope You are able to find your way through this terrible journey to a place of happiness!
