I'm so sorry for your loss. I also lost a brother and a husband too. The loss is so great. I will say a prayer you and your family.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss.. I definitely understand. In the past year, I lost my brother-in-law, my husband, a long-time good friend, my only sister, and just this past week.. another close friend. I've had enough and can't take any more loss right now.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your brother. May Our Lord provide you strength and healing for your broken heart.

I understand your "sick to death of death" statement. I lost my father, sister-in-law and husband back-to-back. Missing them all terribly.

I am sorry for the loss of your brother. I am number 5 out of the 6 siblings, but the probability is that I will bury my younger brother as well as the others before I go. My parents are gone and so are Cliff's, so yes, I understand being sick to death of death. I hate it, too. Sending you a big hug....

During the months before and after my husband's death, so many people that we knew died, from his step dad to a dear friend to a neighbor in our former neighborhood to a co-worker of my husband's for many years. It felt like an epidemic of some sort. Now I am looking at my parents who live next to me and am dreading when their time comes since I will probably be the one to have to take the responsibility. Not fun, not fun at all.

I understand how you feel. I lost my husband in 2011 then I lost my MIL, two of my husband's favorite uncles, two great aunts, and last week I lost my furbaby that was my main companion. I attirubute it to my age.

So sorry for your loss, I lost my husband in Feb., my mother in Sept, two huge losses. 2013 was a very rough year.

it is a definite in life and it will never get easy to deal with.
We will never understand why all this happens until we are chosen to go. So sorry again, I hope you find comfort somehow.

Thanks to all of you out there! I knew there were a number of others who experienced multiple deaths in one years time. I just didn't know there were so many.

But you know what really helped? I wrote that message at 4AM. I finally got to sleep around 6. But, when I woke up and signed on to DS, there you all were with messages of sympathy and empathy. I have never met any of you in person, but you are my friends.

Thank you all so much. I am going to show this to my beloved sis-in-law when I get to Phoenix this weekend. Maybe, I can get her to join us.

Jan, I am so sorry for your loss. Brothers are special. At times it just seems too much. I Lost my Mother and husband 9 months apart last year. Praying for you and your family.

I lost my mother. father and great grandson, and mother-in-law, all within a year.
