Anything that has only happened since Chad passed?
The ancient Shinto culture of Japan believes that all living things are "energy beings"...in fact, aside from a rather complicated discussion of the structures of atoms, the Shinto believe that everything in the universe is made up of energy, vibrating within a spectrum of frequencies, like radio waves or light or sound waves.
If the immortal living part of us is energy, then it is possible that Spirits have the physical ability to affect the very subtle voltages of
microchip circuits that operate almost everything electrical in the modern world. The Shinto have believed this when Europeans still believed the world was flat.
In the 11 months since Marylou transitioned to the Spirit Realm, this has been all but proven to me.
But things of the Spirit Realm are almost impossible to prove.
They are much easier to accept by people who, like me, are just too damn old to believe in "coincidence".
Might I suggest reading "Signs Of The Afterlife" by Lyn Regan.
I believe it is very possible the butterfly and THE " Blue Heaven "
flower are more than coincidences.
I think it is possible we are drawn to given places or things or
directed to given places or things by our loved ones. Some
afterlife researchers belief it is possible our lost loved ones
are able to communicate with us through a telepathy process
and we may not even be aware of the fact they are sending
messages to us. A number of afterlife researchers advocate
various forms of meditation to allow us to be more open to
telepathic thoughts. I am preparing to go down that road, so
to speak, to see what I can discover, if anything.
I agree with eighty8 about the Sprit Realm. There is a great
deal of research taking place worldwide in this area by very
credible people. They state their goal is not to discover any
secrets of " Heaven " but to simply open our minds as to
what may exist that is presently unknown to us.
Thanks again for your post.

What it will really be like? No one knows for certain. We only know what's in the Bible in scripture. I only need to know that it tells us we will know each other when we get there and that's enough for me.
Take care, Peace, Tim
It is a blessing.

It never happened when him and I were in the car.
He wasn't sure if he believed in an afterlife. We had talked about a code and some signs we would give each other if there was,so far three of them have happened. He has given us all many signs since he passed.
My Grand daughter(who was very close to her Grandpa) was married in Hawaii last month and I gave her the garter to wear that I had worn 50 years ago. I couldn't go but my daughters were all there.
After the wedding they went to a restaurant for their wedding dinner.
When they sat down Louie Armstrong's "What A Wonderful World" started playing. This was my husbands favorite. (he was always an optimist)They all started to cry, because they new their Grandpa/Dad was there at the wedding.
Didn't mean to be so long winded, but I think it helps to share when we have Signs. Gives us hope we'll see are loved ones again. Peace and many happy trails to all..Gail
I was desperate to hold onto as much of my "life-before-12" as I could, so I went back to work as an over-the-road trucker on June 24.
On the morning of Sunday July 5th, 2015, I had breakfast at Micky-D's, talked to my daughter on the phone, and the last thing I did before leaving on the last 300-mile leg to New Jersey was to try to set up my mp3 player with Robin Trower to listen on the headphones.
But the mp3 wouldn't let me...as I was trying to scroll through the "artist" que, the thing just took over with a mind of its own, and landed on "I Love You For Sentimental Reasons" by Nat King Cole
...Of course I took that as a sign from Marylou, and the rest of the way into Jersey I just kind of let the player do its own thing...my wife was evidently in the mood for some "Old-Nat" that day.
Easy enough to write off as coincidence if it only happened once...
but later that evening when I made a pit-stop at Buckhorn, Pa., on the way back from New Jersey, it did it again...with no prompting whatsoever, it was playing some old Steve Cole, but my mp3 wasn't having it...it went a little crazy for a second, and settled-in right back at a familiar spot..."I Love You For Sentimental Reasons" by Nat King Cole.
Once is easy enough to convince yourself that it is probably some kind of "coincidence."
Twice in a row? I don't know about anybody else...but these days, I'm just too damn old to believe in "coincidence."
You know how your body feels sore after doing yard work or gardening? The only way I can describe it is a "pleasant tired", you're sore, but you just feel content and it's not an overtaking soreness that you would get from an exercise class, etc. Well, I felt that way this morning and I sat and tried to figure out why.
Almost immediately, a thought came to my mind. One of the things that I will forever miss was when we would lay down, Michael would just wrap his arms around me. That was one of my favorite things. Last night, I dreamed that Michael and I were laying down and he had his arms wrapped around me tightly and I had the sensation that he was lightly squeezing me, as if hugging me. While in the state of being asleep/awake, I could physically feel my back and my arms being touched in this way.
This morning, I relished the feeling that I had and kept recalling the dream to myself because I didn't want the memory of the feeling to fade.
I am overjoyed that he came to visit, but I'm also left feeling very bereft and lonely because he is not here. I hope and pray that the Lord will send him to visit me more often.
