Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
Bereavement is a long process, prepare yourself for "setbacks", floods of emotions, and memories.
Hope you will feel better soon.

One of the things I found so hard was all the constant adjusting I had to do in order to take care of all the stuff Cliff used to handle on top of my half of things. And single parenting is tough work! I just felt like I was working at 200% of capacity all the time and that is exhausting!
Can you take a day off here or there? And do something relaxing for a change? We all need a break sometimes.
Love and Hugs,
Martha
Will it really be so bad if you don't do any of the work till tomorrow? As hard as it is, because it can make you feel like "here's another aspect of my life I can't handle well" sometimes it is better to go on home and shut down and then try it again tomorrow. I know my experiences are new, but I have found that sometimes it's like when you admit you have a cold and go home as compared to the times you stay at work, and let that cold linger for days and days.
You don't have to prove anything to your co-workers or yourself. Someone told me "it's important to be kind to yourself." please take that to heart.

Just listen to your body and remember to take care of yourself.

Give yourself time, give yourself a break, and if it continues consider getting help. I did and it seemed to make a difference.
Hugs,
