I have several of these, I promise to keep the others shorter.About 2weeks after Sharry passed, I intended to go running on a new 6 mile course I had calculated on a beautiful trail on the shore of Lake Michigan, near our home, while Matt is at the CP center for 3 hrs. weekday mornings. Needed a new course with better cell reception than my old one in our state forest. Everything that could possibly delay me that morning happened. Haircut appt. backed up, several unexpected calls,and a long line picking up Matt's meds. When I finally started to get ready, I was flying around so fast that I first realized I forgot my cell after I was a block away, then my water bottle, and the clincher was when I got about 2 blocks down and realized I had hurried to the point that I had put my running shorts on inside out, when I happened to look down and saw the pockets on the outside. I promise I have a point, bear with me. There was no way that I had time to run the course I spoke of. I had to run the other direction for a shorter course I had measured roughly, but had never run. When my thoughts as they constantly still do, turned to Sharry while I ran, I said to her in my mind "I believe you are in heaven and I believe I'll see you again. About 2-3 seconds later I passed a little garden that one of the civic groups placed along the course. I looked down and saw staked wooden letters amid the flowers that spelled BELIEVE. Now I knew why the morning ,had gone so strangely, I was supposed to be where I had never run before, with that profound thought present, at that precise moment, to assure me she was ok. My best friends wife decided to run the same course, to see the garden I told her about. At Sharry's funeral, one of the songs we played is called "The Garden" by Rush. She had smiled and so enjoyed this song in concert with me just 2 days before she passed. My friend's wife liked it so much that she downloaded it to her iPod. That day as she approached the garden on her run, with about 300 songs on her iPod, and set to random play, Rush " The Garden" just happened to come up, seconds before she reached the BELIEVE sign. One chance in 300 at that exact moment. This was the first sign from her. I'm sorry this was so long, I just had to tell you. love; Robert
