Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
And once again Dually, I like "just keep swimming"
I can do this! and all things through God
Just focus on one step at a time, not the entire staircase
If you wake up in the middle of the night in a panic, remember everything looks worst at night.
Also remember you are doing the best that you could or can do. Don't beat yourself up over it.
Prayer helps!

I will always love my husband and I thank God every night for the 35 years he allowed us to share together. Not long enough but I remind myself that I am still blessed b/c there are some people that are never lucky enough to have what we had.
1. Be happy for whatever and whoever you have, and whatever and whoever you once had.
2. Be grateful for small blessings, unexpected wonder, loud laughter, minor successes, and new knowledge.
3. Be selfless - every person is precious - share the wealth of yourself. Someone needs you.
4. Love whoever is still here, starting with yourself first.
5. Dont give up.
Love and Hugs,
Martha
