Widows & Widowers Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
I could go on and on. I need to think about these things on a daily basis. The good certainly outweighs the bad. Hugs, Norma

1) Martin's children and mother and brother and the love they continue to show for me
2) my family and friends and colleagues and clients and Martin's colleagues and cycling friends who continue to look out for me and invite me out (even after I said no or avoided them early on)
3) my faith and that it has not been undermined by this
4) the blessing of an optimistic nature and resilience that have helped me to weather the storms
5) that I had many years on my own before Martin and that he always refused to let me be "helpless"(even when I would have liked to be :) ) so know that I CAN do it if I try
6) that M and I had ten extraordinary years and that we didn't "not do things" in the expectation we would have time later. We packed an awful lot in!
7) 2 old dogs who are good company and make me get out of bed
