For some reason I'm having a bad spell. I miss my husband sooo much. I've had to wear a boot for weeks now, due to a torn tendon. And this Monday I had cataract surgery. I've had a headache and on and off eye pain all day. Just can't bring myself to call the eye doc. I'll try to sleep on my back tonight, so as not to bump the eye, and hope it is better tomorrow. Vision is blurred and fuzzy, too, but he said that should pass. I don't think the rain is helping to lift my spirits either. I'm just sad and discouraged.

I'm so sorry you are dealing with so much and without your spouse. I understand how you feel, 2 months after my hub passed I had surgery and woke up for the first time in the recovery room w/o him there and missed him so.
I hope you feel much better tomorrow and I hope the sun is shining. You are not alone, we are here for you.

I am sorry for all that you're going through....... I think the rainy weather just makes us more blue. Hang in there......after the rain, there are rainbows......here's a hug for you

I'm sorry your feeling bad Janni, I know how you feel. After 21 months I am still sad and miss my husband sooooo much. I don't guess it will ever get any better. I know it's so much worse when you don't feel good.

janni I too am so sorry....My DH had both eyes done, just before he died, he never had those problems, make sure you put the drops in there. especially the ant-botic one. You really needed someone with you at this time. keep the patch on, so you won't hurt it. (((((hugs)))))

Like Sandy said, don't skip the drops. antibiotic ahve to be on schedule. My father in law also had one that soothed the eye. Hugs .

My thanks and ((HUGS))) to all of you. Yes, I am carefully keeping to the schedule the drops. The operation was Monday and the patch came off Tuesday. A nurse called to check yesterday and I promised to call if I had more problems. This morning there were shooting pains, but I did the drops right away and they have subsided. The vision is still cloudy and blurred. I will wait and see how things go. I do hope I don't have to drive up to the doctor, as we are getting heavy rain from Tropical Storm Andrea. That, too, is a bit worrisome, although the projected path takes it north and west of here. Thank you for being here for me.

It might be good to call the nurse back that you talked to yesterday and just run your symptoms by her and see what she says.
