Have been praying,even though I haven't posted in a while. I especially pray that those of you are new on this journey will be strengthen day by day
Move forward even when it seems like the hardest thing to do, to be comforted and to seek after peace. Time moves whether we want it to or not. In three months it will be three years since my husband passed away and in some ways feels like it happened yesterday. To add, I was just diagnosed with a rare disease called amyloidosis of which there is no cure.
Just want you to know that I am not as sad as I was in my grief. I miss him so much. Keep me in your prayers and I will certainly continue to keep all of you in mine.

Marylou passed June 12th of last year, so I am reaching for 10-months-out...I've been on here a little over a month, and I am learning that the loss of a spouse, over time, imparts a certain strength to a person that is deeply Spiritual, and is unstoppable...and I absolutely see that strength in your words...you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I believe in the power of prayer and I certainly will pray for you. I am sorry you are having to deal with health problems at the same time your having to live with grief. I am at just over 3 years and I can relate to your saying that some ways feels like it happened yesterday. Time does not seem to operate the way it used to before he died.

Thanks praised. Prayer does help. Time does move on, with or without us. I sometimes look out the window and think How can everything around seem so normal when inside it's isn't. The season changed and here is spring and warm weather is coming. How did all these holidays go by without her here.
For some reason this past few days I have been throw into a depression that I can't put my finger on where it's coming from. But like you I have stayed in prayer to get thru and I will wait for Him to show me that way thru.
