I am right there with you, hate it, but life goes on. I try to be strong or everyone else and actually that helps me. God bless. Sometimes just talking to him helps me like he is here. This site will help, so many going thru the same thing. Support comes from just knowing that.

I too can hate life. It's a normal emotion after an event like what happened to you and so many others. I'm sorry for the sadness and painful feeling of loss of so much. Don't give up on life, though, just keep going minute by minite and seek something that you can appreciate. Sharon

Yes, I understand all too well. When I want to ask him something, he's not here. My daughter feels the same way. She had a baby after my husband's passing. She so misses her dad to play and cuddle the baby as he did with our other grand children. This grand child other grand father was a dead beat dad to my son-in-law, so obviously there is no contact. It is so unfortunate that my grand child missed out on a loving grandpa. The comfort we got is that my husband must have been watching over us and this child. He told me the baby's birth date a couple of months earlier in a dream before his birth.

Sometimes, the reality can hit hard. Very hard. I think it's even worse when you have young kids involved. You are trying to get through your own grief, and then you have theirs to deal with too. We all grieve differently, so it's diffucult to deal with them all.

My son was just 7 months when we lost his dad. Now, 4 years later, he is understanding what happened and that dad is gone. A few months ago, he started crying for him. I have dealt with the worst of my initial pain, but now his is just budding.
