I have felt your desperation...I can't add anything to Sharon's post,
It just says it all,
Sending you love...Sandra
to the feelings of losing our loved one. Just today like LMJ90 posted, I was asking myself "Why didn't I say this or ask this." But looking back, we were in such shock about knowing his time was short and you seem to go into a zone that is hard to talk about death or other things, because they so are emotional.
I know that I have said before that I know we will be together some day, but I wanted more of him on this earth & it won't be the same when we do meet again.
He fell from his wheelchair on Aug 1 and suffered 2 broken legs. He was coming along very well and we were talking about his coming home. Sometime early Sat morning he threw a blood clot that travelled to his heart and he was gone.
I find comfort in knowing that he died in his sleep but the pain of missing his physical presence is overwhelming. Our 24 years together were the best of my life. We lived all the vows of "better or worse, richer or poorer,,sickness and health until death. I know that I am not alone in this sad journey. Comfort and prayers to all who walk along in my shoes.
