Just wondering if anyone is close to me. I am in LeClaire (Quad Cities Metro area) and I think I would like to have dinner out one in a while, maybe see a movie (that is not with my grand daughter!) or go to one of the many festivals in my area and I don't' want to go alone. So if anyone is close and would like to go please let me know.
I am sorry if this is not the correct venue to post this.

I have to admit I don't even know where that is, but I checked and see you are in Iowa, right? A long way for me, but I am happy to bump this back up so hopefully you get a reply from somebody local. We do have some members in your area I think.

Hi Cathy,
I don't live in your state, but I know exactly how you feel. I was dying to go to a local festival one night that always has the best food, but I didn't want to go alone. For one thing, I was afraid I'd run into my husband's friends, or coworkers, and I wasn't in the mood to deal with that...so I stayed home.

Glad you are coming to the IA get together. I am also in Illinois, like Diane said not that far. In fact I have a son in grad school in Iowa City so I do get to Iowa from time to time.
