That was a premonition event. I have experienced it through her, although, not as explicit as your dream.

A week and a half before she left, I was staying by her side in the hospital. As I was about to leave, she dreamed of her father, and he said, "That's the only reason you'd go." I was there as she said those words. The message itself could have meant anything, but it prepared me for the possibility.

I had never really believed in premonitions before and still wonder where this came from. It was as if something was telling me to be ready, to prepare for what is impossible to prepare for.

Carol, I had something like this as well. We were in Florida for a couple of weeks in January. I knew Joe was tired, but I thought it was from running our business. I woke in the middle of the night - he had gone out for a walk like he did every night (and btw, it was inside a complex, and very safe). I had a panic attack/feeling like I'd never felt. It came from nowhere.

A month later, he was diagnosed with bile duct cancer. Only much later on, in looking back, did I remember this dream. I know now that deep in my gut I realized/felt there was something terribly wrong. Hugs, Marsha

There is no explaination, other than you didn't imagine it. Sometimes we are given gifts, or some might say it's not a gift. It's called perceptions. The night before my husband died, we were driving to a fastfood restaraunt, I turned to him, and said, "excuse my language, but said "Do you think the reason shit keeps happeing to us, is that we arent doing things right in the relgious/spiritual things?". I havent a clue where that came from, myself, I would have never said that because I wouldve never wanted to hurt seans feelings. He turned to me and so no.... and then that night after weeks of not being intimate as he had nerve damage done to his back, we were intimate, the night before he passed away. The day sean died, I had a strange, prolific call/ or pushing of urgency to go outside and check on him, which I had never really had before. Later that day, my brother in law, would tell me at 11:30 he had a vision, of him and his brother carrying seans casket. Sean didnt want to be buried.. but it was weird. We never know why the things that happen do, but everything, and I do mean everything happens, for a reaosn, we may not know, like or understand it, but it happens regardless. You are not alone. A few days before my husband died, I dreamed that I was holding a round container. When I opened it, ashes flew out and went down my throat. I woke up having an asthma attack. I wish I had a premonition about my son's passing. If I had, maybe I could have done something for him.

I have had several dreams over my life involving the doctor telling me I was diying. I would wake up crying, even being a man I cry, but i haven't one invollving someone else passing. I wonder how I would react now.
