About a month after I lost Tom, my son who is autistic, had a violent meltdown one night in his room..(.he gets frustrated and hits himself quite hard, and I basically have to get in there and keep him from injuring himself)...He had punched himself in the ear, and it started to bleed. I threw my forearms up to the sides of his head to keep him from injuring himself further, all the while lamenting to myself that my husband wasn't here. When the tirade was over and I took my arms away, there was a perfect outline of a heart with wings above it in blood...(I had got a tattoo done a week before on the other forearm, with a heart...don't know if that is significant or not...) When I looked at it I just burst into tears..and snapped a picture...and I don't like to tell this story to many times, because I too am afraid of someone thinking I'm nuts. I also feel a strange sensation at the crown of my head when I feel his presence. Another time, I was asking him 'are you still with me?' At that moment, I had the urge to go into the bedroom and pull a stack of random papers out of a box. As I did, one flew out and landed face down on the floor. When I picked it up, it was a heart that he had drawn some years ago.
That rose WAS indeed a gift from your husband...there is no other explanation...
Thank you for sharing this with us. How beautiful!
