It would be nice to see a picture of you on your profile. Go to edit next to your profile and you should be able to upload a photo or an icon.

I am sorry for your loss, I lost the love of my life on November 9, 2009. We were married for thirty years she had a degree in computer programming but never worked with computers. We had just moved from Arkansas to Iowa due to my job and I think she just wanted to meet people so she took computer classes. She made friends easy and they would get together and study/visit and somehow she made all A's. She found a job there working at the county home for mentally disabled, she was a nurse and liked working with those type of patients. Anyway she never pursued the computer thing and if she needed a picture downloaded for E-Bay she would have me do it. I showed her how to do it but she always wanted me to do that.

Anyway to add a picture here, on the left next to "My Profile" click on the word "edit". This will take you to the screen where you entered your story, you then want to change your Avatar. It will give you a choice on the right to either download a picture from your computer (use the browse button) or use one of theirs.

Again I am sorry about your husband, my wife was also in ICU on an oxygen mask the last week she lived, we were able to communicate a little but it was hard. Good luck with the picture, I hope you have peaceful days ahead.

You're not the only one. I tried adding some photos, but all the ones in my 'puter are too large. I'd have to resize them somehow...and I guess I'm just not motivated enough to learn how to do that.

Ok - I got the little butterflies. But - as for the picture - I don't know how to upload a photo. I've never put a picture on my computer. I suppose I should get with the 21st century. I'm a step ahead of my husband, however. He never even learned how to turn the computer on. I'll see if my daughter can help me get some photos - and I think she has some on here already. thanks

In order to put a picture on your profile, you need a picture on your computer or on some other website that you can upload from. You need to edit it so it has minimal pixels or it won't upload here. I hope your daughter can help you with this if that's what you really want. I like the butterflies but it would be nice to see your face, too!
