I was a fixing a sprinkler in my front yard (on my birthday), my youngest daughter pulled in and got out of her car with a dozen yellow and red roses. She said she was at Costco and was getting ready to leave when she just had a feeling she needed to buy me some roses. She first bought red and white and had put them in the basket and was leaving and looked back and saw the yellow she said she just felt she needed to get them instead and went back. We both had a good cry and knew her Dad was there with us.
I have been coming to this sight since July and read all your post daily. Thanks to all you caring and loving people who have helped me through the hardest journey of my life.
I have had many other signs from my husband, as have our girls.
I'll post at another time. Happy Trails Gail.
Remember yesterday, Dream of tomorrow, but Live for today.
That kind of gives me hope to her from her.

The day her husband died, she had kissed him goodbye late one morning (they were newlyweds - only been married a year), went to run some errands for her mom intending to return home in an hour, but not expecting to find him there, as he was scheduled to go to work himself. She returned, was surprised to see his car, went in & called for him, no answer. Went into the bedroom and found him slumped between the bed stand and the bed, dead from a killer heart attack or stroke (something that took him "before he hit the floor" she was told).
His body was taken to the coroner, as by law it must have, and all the other ceremonies (funeral, cremation, burial, what have you)were carried out. Life, sad as it was/ is, marches on.
About 6 months ago, I saw Adrienne at the market & she pulled me aside and said she needed to tell me something. She said she received a call from the Coroners Office asking her when she could come there and pick up an article that belonged to her husband. She replied, "what do you mean, I already have his belongings, it was just the tee shirt and shorts he was wearing when he was taken from the house, and I got those back from you already over a year ago", they said they had something else, but they couldn't give her any information (as it was sealed in an envelope and they were just relaying the message to her anyway). For the life of her she couldn't imagine what it was - his wallet wasn't sent with him, she didn't recall there was anything in any of his work out pants pockets, after all, he was getting ready to get in the shower the morning he died, to go to work.
Well she went to the Coroners office, retrieved the envelope, and in it found a picture of them on their first date after they had confirmed their new found love for each other!
Adrienne is not "religious" but is certainly been made to be more inquisitive about spirit, as we all do or become, especially after death, and this was just beyond anything she could explain. She was afraid to tell many - her therapist in particular - because she knew they would think her crazy. But she really couldn't explain how this picture came forward from the Coroner's office, months later. Neither could I; could just say 'spirit works in mysterious ways'
I'm also thinking maybe this was her husbands way, now only in spirit, of guiding her towards a less biased approach to "religion" or at least "spirit" and the eternal hereafter. And of course I am in awe, even while being a little envious.
