As I have mentioned before at ds, I am self employed as a licensed childcare provider. This morning during our story time, one of my "babies," 4 years of age, asked me to tell them a story. Because I was sitting on the floor with them, I really didn't want to get up and get a book, so I proceeded to make up a short story. I mean it ended up being a really short story! " Once upon a time, there was a very ,very old lady." With that the 4 year old blurted out "just like you, huh?" The End :) LOL!

I am never ever surprised at the things children say...Liz you must hear lots of funny remarks!
I know my 7 grandchildren always come up with some 'Doozies'....

Children are priceless at any age.. I watched my 2 yr old granddaughter last week and I have a rash on my forehead. She climbed onto my lap and then look with squinted eyes and said "OH NO YUCKY BOO-BOO" I said smiling that's because Mamie is old and the 7 yr old had just gotten home and said " Mamie your not old Papa was!!!!! . I hugged them with tears . .yes he was LOL 74 Love them ...
