Yes, I do recognise that soul-deep, raw, tearing grief that knocks you flat. I am sorry that it came back for you on your anniversary and hope that it does ease over time. Please, take time to convalesce.
Warm hugs, Sandy
I'm so sorry that you're feeling such pain. It's truly heartbreaking to realize we're alone.
I have felt that pain also.
Hugs,
Janie
Also, I'm glad you brought up that "different" grief thing. You have hit the nail on the head and I don't think I've heard anyone talk about it before. There is that grief that we all live with every day and , you're right, has seemed to ease a little over time. But then there is that other grief you talk about, the one that slaps you in the face as if it were today. Mine hits me in the pit of my stomach and it makes me feel as if I am reliving every moment. Thanks for putting it so eloquently!
Many hugs to you to be able to get through those tough days and hopefully they will continue to ease.
