This community is dedicated to those who have lost a husband, wife, or partner. Anything is open for discussion here, with the hope that we can focus on grief, bereavement, life after loss, and continuing on after a great loss.
In my studies of spiritual life after the passing of my partner, I have concluded that God cannot control our free will and the events here, but he does love us here and in the afterlife.
In the physical life, we are governed by natural laws, that does not distinguish between good or bad people. Sometimes bad things happen to good people, and there is no fairness.
Our physical life here is often full of pain, but our reward for those who have loved others is paradise in the afterlife.

I agree my husband is in an amazing place and I'm stuck here going through all the pain and suffering. I can't wait until it is my turn
