I have never seen the grand canyon. Maybe It's about time I get started.
Thank You!
Bucket list is a new term for me, I am from England, Ben and I also had a 'bucket list' of dreams, First on the list was to be able to afford a big property up North in Canada on the lake ,where he could have three big cottages built.....one for us and one each for our children and their families. He was a wonderful husband, who always put his family first. I miss him mire than words can say.
Once again thank you,
Love, peace and more joy,
Sandra
Jake had a few things he wanted to do and I hope to be able to do some of them for him--like floating a river near here. One thing that we had always wanted to do was to visit New England in the fall and see all of the leaves turning color. Don't know if I will make it there or not but it is something I can tuck away on my wish list.
Sharon, how fortunate you were to be able to experience all of that before Don died. Jake was just not able to do any of that so I am dealing with the past and present and future by myself. It is difficult but I am finding the strength to work through everything and can see some peace in the distance.
I've always wanted to go to that balloon festival.
I'm glad you were able to go, especially with your family.
Hugs,
Janie
Ironically, one of the things both Cliff and I had intended to do was to visit England, and he lobbied for us to move to the UK -- I told him he was crazy. Now I live here. Often when I have visited famous places here - like Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, etc. - I think of him and hope he is flying along with us, and making good use of those angel wings.
I am glad you enjoyed the trip and the festival.
Love and Hugs,
Martha
In retrospect my husband did have a bucket list. He once told me he wanted to see the seven wonders of the world. We visited Machu Pichu, Ankor Wat, and just 2 months before he passed away we saw Grand Canyon. I am so grateful how he has broaden our life experiences. How I missed just being able to hold his hands and stroll along a quiet place.
