Yes, this day....the one year anniversary of losing my loving husband.
My world was shattered on Oct 26, 2013. Saying good-bye to the love of my life was unbearably difficult. Everything that followed during those first weeks felt blurred; unclear. Nothing made sense.
I discovered DS in December and will be forever grateful for ALL I received from this amazing group! Quite frankly, I feel this site has helped in my grief journey more than support groups or therapy. I have gained so much knowledge, strength, understanding and insights from the beautiful people here.
Thank you, my friends, for sharing so much of yourselves. Visiting DS numerous times a day throughout this past year has been so therapeutic.
I wish I could hug each and every one of you! May God continue to bless and heal all who are suffering.....thank you for being such great friends!

It's been almost 16 weeks since my husband passed, and I am grateful for this site.
I feel like I have friends here who truly understand the heartbreak.
