Lost My Love of 54 years one month ago yesterday. The grief is so hard, nothing like anything I expected, even though she had end stage COPD for years. She was so strong, and I miss her so much.

Glad you found the site, but like everyone else hate you have to be here to. No one wants to be a member of this. Fifty four years is a long time. Linda and I were together for 22 years. She went home to Jesus last August.
The pain sometimes is just as intense as it was day one. Your right the triggers are all over the place.
The folks here are number one. They are compassionate and care about what each other is going thru. Come here as often as you need to. It has been a great help to me.
Most important is take care of you. Do what you have to do for yourself to heal. Don't rush yourself, just take your time with anything.
