i think it is good for her to see you cry some of the times. hugs. i have been having a rough patch as well, crying almost non-stop since saturday evening. i don't think there is a "normal" to strive for. grief is a beast and behaves on an individual basis. the pendulum will swing back and we will have good days again, at least that's what i try to tell myself.

I hear there is no normal and there is no rules. You feel and act how you do when you need to. It's over 3 months now and I still cry all the time. In the early morning, at work, in the grocery store, in the bathroom, when someone says something nice to me. Whatever. I've even given up wiping them away something's. I do try my best to make sure the kids aren't around for every episode, but I don't try to hide it from them either. I do t know if knowing this helps or not. Hugs

Give yourself the time you need to grieve, we each grieve in our own time & way.
It has been 3 years for me, time does level out the emotions but how soon, is different for everyone.

A local hospital or church may offer a support group. It's beneficial to talk with others who have experienced our loss.
