Hi, I am a widow who lost my beloved husband 12/26/2016 due to bladder cancer metastasis to lungs & liver. My love & I were together for 8 years due to this being a 2nd chance at love. We decided to wed February 13,2016 in Costa Rica beach setting wedding, along with horses at the beach, it was magical with our friends & Family. We moved into a lovely condo 4/1/2016 & in May my beloved husband found out about his cancer. I am totally heartbroken, devasted, feeling lost & alone in this world. I have a sense of peace though knowing he is no longer suffering.

It was 39 years of marriage for me, 3 months to retirement.

Yes, I agree, to know the suffering is over. Thank you Lord.

It was so hard to see such a strong and proud man hurt so much, lose so much weight and die like he did. I too am thankful he didn't suffer long, but also hate that we had such a short life together. It took so long to find him and it hurts so much to have lost him.
How any of us make it thru this, I do not know. I want to wake up from this nightmare. Of course that would require that I sleep, which I haven't figured out yet.
Sorry to ramble. I just can sooooo relate. Hoping some day I'm strong enough to offer positive advice versus simply sharing my sadness and struggles.
Love prayers and hugs. One day at a time....
