We were always such busy busy people. A full day, every single day, of manual labor. Now, most days, I sit... I do the basics... and not much more. Once in a while, we would try to sneak a couple of hours to go fishing... have not done that yet, and most likely won't do it ever again. It was our thing.
I worked very hard for a bit... trying to stay busy. I put in a huge memorial garden for Shane, and helped my son remodel his house. but now, there has been too much sitting... too much thinking.
I don't even "work" anymore. I used to enjoy what I did, but Shane was my inspiration and without him, I see no point in even trying to write anymore. The words will fall flat... they will be completely meaningless...

Sorry... feeling a bit useless today. Might be time to try to sleep
